L'organisme fourni un service public en établissant et maintenant une installation communautaire où 8 groupes tiennent des activités sociales récréatives artistiques et éducatives. Elle fait également des conférences et des activités d'éducation populaire et collabore avec des travalleurs sociaux pour aides des gens à se prendre en charge. Elle protège et préserve le site patrimonial de l'église saint-eugène en restaurant (refection du toit) en développant et en entretenant le site en vue de le commémorer et de sensibiliser le public à son importance.
