Some of the highlights were: The honourary host of the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation Memorial weekend held in Ottawa; Awarded two scholarships; Expanded the Medal Program with the Introduction of the Indigenous Fire Service award program; Made available a revised AD&D policy to support and Protect Canadian Volunteer Firefighters. The Associations continues to support and strengthen Canada’s Volunteer Firefighters through participation in various committees and seminars across Canada.
