Fundraising to be able to grant scholarships/bursaries to female graduates from secondary schools in SD79-Cowichan Valley. The number of awards varies each year as we review our fundraising totals in April. One Bursary or more depending on the account is granted to a mature student from the Cowichan Valley enrolled at Vancouver Island University (VIU); this is administered through their Foundation with ongoing funds from our trust fund. Further Awards will be granted to Indigenous Female Students from the Cowichan Valley enrolled in VIU. Members will donate each year to the VIU Foundation…
