CCRT's mandate is to find homes for Chihuahua dogs whose owners are no longer able or do not want to care for them or those that are dropped off at pet shelters animal hospitals or abandon them. The CCRT attempts to find suitable foster homes for the animals through a careful screening process for placements. The organization monitors animal shelters humane societies newspapers and the Internet to locate dogs that are given proper veterinary care fostered and when ready adopted out to suitable 'forever' homes.
