In 2001 camta was incorperated under the alberta society's act and gained charitable status with cra. As of feb/march 2024 camta has delivered 20 annual missions to ecuador. Camta has two back-to-back fifty member teams; each team works a 10 day mission. The team provides orthopedic surgeries and care to pediatric and adult patients who need the medical/surgical care but cannot afford to get it. Camta provides total hip replacements for adults and performs surgeries on children to correct club feet and congenital hip dislocations.
