The charity makes items for distribution to needy people in canada and the developing world. Items made include knitted teddy bears; clothing (primarily for babies to teen); bedding; hygiene kits and requested items for schools orphanges hospitals and senior homes. There are no paid staff. Volunteers include a 'core' group of men and women (aged 55-90+) from southern vancouver island who meet weekly plus individuals and 'satelite' groups across canada.
