Camp tanner was established to advance religion through operating a summer camp in embro ontario area. The camp is an outreach of the united church of canada and operates in accordance with the teachings and tenets of the united church of canada. Camp tanner welcomes campers from ages 7 to 15. The camp also provides leadership training for staff members from ages 14 to 25 years . Due to the ongoing pandemic camp tanner was unable to run it summer camp for the summer of 2021.
