The chinook scout foundation grants funds to support scouts canada chinook council to: support youth scouting activities and outdoor programs in calgary lethbridge medicine hat and more than 100 other communities in southern alberta (chinook council); provide financial assistance to families unable to afford scouts canada youth membership fees and program costs; provide scholarships to assist with post secondary education; support recruitment screening training development and recognition of approximately 1 200 volunteers in chinook council.
