Cafka's primary purpose is to host a biennial thematic form of visual and media arts. The number of volunteers and hours depend on whether a forum is being held in the year. Aside from the four employees all participants are volunteers. Cafka uses grant money to pay artists in the forum and promote the event through print and other advertising.
