1. Deer lake gallery-the burnaby arts council (bac) publicly solicits applications for its 10-12 exhibitions each calendar year. The gallery features it members as well as bc emerging artists. 2. Burnaby summer theatre-through a federal grant the bac hires emerging theatre students to write direct and perform to children and families. 3. Deer lake festival-held for the last 47 years.
