The main purpose of the BC Paraplegic Foundation ('the Foundation') is to acquire funds from the community of assisting persons with spinal cored injuries and related disabilities achieve independence self reliance and full community participation . The Foundation donates yearly to the Spinal Cord Injury Organization of BC (SCI-BC) formerly known as BC Paraplegic Association. The Foundation also gives grants for equipment transportation housing and education to individual applicants.
