To enhance public awareness and appreciation of bc's performing arts community past and present by honouring and commembrating individuals and groups within the entertainment world who have made outstanding contributions to its development in bc. Inductees are recognized at public ceremonies and through placement of identified 'star' plaques in the starwalk along granville street's theatre road. The society conducts educational tours of the hall of fame and the historic orphen theatre.
