In Canada through our Smiling Kids program we provided two types of support to low-income families. Firstly we offered financial assistance and culturally sensitive food hampers to alleviate food insecurity. Secondly under the same program we supported low-income immigrant mothers who recently had a baby. These mothers received a 'WrappedBum Box' containing essential items such as diapers wipes baby soap shampoo lotion and other necessary supplies to support them in caring for their newborns.
