Food for Thought - Brandon's Breakfast & Snack Program for Kids is a non-profit organization made up of community minded people who wanted to start a program in the community that would address children attending school hungry. There are 18 K-8 schools and 3 high schools in the Brandon Shilo & Alexander area that the program operates in. Last year we fed over 190 291 meals to students. It is well supported by the community. The Board of Directors believe that no child should attend school hungry and the program provides a nutritional breakfast snack or lunch 5 days a week for the duratio…
