We continue to work towards building low to moderate income independent seniors rental housing in our community with our partners BC Housing and CMHC. Our Crown Land has been transferred from the Ministry of Forests to the Ministry of Housing to secure financeable lease terms. Our Development Permit has been issued and we are currently awaiting our Building Permit to be issued by the Regional District of Nanaimo.
