Recreational sailing opportunities to blind and visually impaired persons in the greater toronto area; provide sailing orientation and instruction to blind members and volunteer assistance; organize regular social events year-round to facilitate further integration and inclusion in the community and reduce social isolation; volunteers play an integral part of the program by offering their sailing expertise to act as sighted skippers and crew for the sails. The association organized daily sails from mid may until early october for blind and visually impaired members.
