In its own words
Library services for the residents of the City of Barrie and Township of Oro Medonte. Volunteers assist the Library annually contributing by running the Library's cafe and assisting in operations by shelf reading the collection. Volunteers also deliver materials to Library patrons who are not able to come to the Library. The annual Dragonboat Festival is facilitated by the Library run by a volunteer committee and supported by sponsors throughout the community which provides fundraising and awareness for several charities throughout the community. Planned giving is ongoing.
