In its own words

In zambia baraka canada provides the opportunity for canadians to sponsor zambian children and provide them an education and opportunities that they would otherwise be denied. Most zambian children have to pay fees to attend school and due to high poverty levels this means that a high percentage of children drop out of school as their families simply cannot afford these fees. Further baraka and baraka representatives from canada raise funds to provide medical aid and support within zambian villages.
