1. We rescue strays from Northern Manitoba in the Island Lakes Community. Many of these dogs are found at dump sites on the reserves scavenging for food. They can become a danger to the northern communities when their food source becomes scarce. There are many instances of dog bites occuring when a dog is hungry in these northern communities. Back to Pack Rescue Shelter (BPR) works in partnership with Indigenous people in Gardenhill MB and is well-known.
