Il est un organisme de bienfaisance au sens de la loi de l'impôt sur le revenu. Ses objectifs sont de récuper vendre des meubles des appareils ménagers et des accessoires usagés; aider les personnes sans emploi à développer des habilités afin de réintégrer éventuellement le marché du travail et verser des sommes d'argent à d'autres oeuvres communautaires.
