In its own words
I.v.o.w. Association issues invitations to children from israel to attend summer camp and to tour canada. The 12 to 13 year olds are chosen based on the following criteria; parents have either lost their lives or have been disabled while on military duty or have been victims of terror. The purpose of the 3-4 week visit is to offer a respite from their daily threat of terror and provide an opportunity to socialize with canadian peers. An integral part of the program is the arrival in canada. They are provided with a period of normalcy which we as canadians are so fortunate to enjoy.
