ABEKS monitors ecological change within the geographical range of the Porcupine Caribou Herd. Gwich'in and Inuvialuit beneficiaries are selected by local Final Agreement-mandated organizations to conduct interviews with local experts each year. Information provided by these experts is uploaded to an online database that is accessible to all participating communities to help with research and decision-making; for use in co-management.
