We study and make recommendations to the anglican church of canada to advise them as how deacons can be best deployed to advance ministry and the anglican faith. We provide deacons with educational resources to enhance their ability to carry out their role within the church and provide aspiring deacons with educational resources that better allow then to pursue becoming and ordained deacon. We develop recommendations about existing guidelines regarding the use of deacons within the anglican church and make recommendations about how deacons can be better used to further the anglican faith.
