The mission of the alberta emerald foundation is to recognize and celebrate environmental excellence in alberta. The foundation accomplishes this by organizing the emerald awards annually which honours nominated selected award finalists who successfully meet the foundation's objectives. Information about finalists and recipients is showcased through social media earned media partnerships and the aef website throughout the year.
