Alberta craft council's mandate is to promote craft in alberta. Maintains the only public the craft gallery in alberta - edmonton and calgary. Develop and promote 30 exhibitios annually and present them free to the public. Publishes a bi-annual alberta craft magazine that highlights fine craft culture in alberta free to the public. Produces free public programing in person and online artist talks lectures and craft education including hands-on workshops. Craft tours to artists studios cultural sites and cultural partnerships.
