In its own words
Seven volunteers pick up food and drop off the food at the front door of the six elementary schools. In three of the six elementary schools in the Alberni Valley the teachers and TA's hand out the food to the students in need of breakfast five days a week. In the other three elementary schools volunteers go into the school and feed the children and read to them. From September 2023 to June 2024 61 821students attended the Read and Feed Program.
