The air cadet program is federally sponsored by the government of canada and is financially supported and administered by dnd through the air cadet league of canada. It is the responsibility of the sponsoring committee of the squadron to raise funds required to subsidize certain additional costs covering the provision of training equipment flying training etc. Funds received are used soley by the squadron.
